Kimco Staffing is seeking a hands-on Coating Technician to join our Irvine, CA team on the swing shift. No prior coating experience required, just mechanical inclination and a willingness to learn high-tech optical manufacturing.

The role focuses on dip coating and AR coating processes for optical lenses. You’ll assist with equipment, log production data, and perform routine QC tasks while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new processes.
• Familiarity with coating-related tasks is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and assist in dip coating and AR coating processes for optical lenses.
• Help clean, maintain, and dismantle chamber tooling to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Measure coating solutions and log production data into software.
• Inspect lenses and unload parts for Quality Control (QC).
