Job summary

Apollopros in Richardson, TX is seeking an Optical Coating Technician to join the second shift onsite. Shift hours are 1:00pm–10:30pm, with a 9/80 schedule and off every other Friday.

On‑the‑job training will occur on the first shift (6:00am–3:30pm) for about 4–6 months. The role involves operating coating equipment, maintaining chambers, performing quality checks, and recording run data with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using documents, prints, safety rules, work instructions and operating procedures.
• Proficiency with production equipment/hardware and/or test equipment.
• Experience using a computer and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate optical coating processes and deposition equipment.
• Maintain chambers, sandblast tooling, clean and re-foil as required.
• Record run data and monitor process parameters with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate workflow with co-workers and communicate cross-functionally.
