Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in El Paso, IL is seeking an Operations Technician for an on-site role. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and wages starting at $24.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.

You will formulate or package herbicide, perform maintenance, safety checks, and operate equipment. Requirements include High School/GED, valid US driver’s license, English fluency, and ability to pass drug and background screens.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years manufacturing or relevant military experience preferred.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Formulate or package dry flowable herbicide.
• Train in Formulation or Packaging assets per plan.
• Perform maintenance on assets.
• Complete safety checks.
• Operate a PIT forklift for loading/unloading.
• Troubleshoot processes and adjust based on lab results.
• Use Excel/Outlook/databases.
• Participate in plant initiatives.
• Communicate across shifts and leadership.
• Ensure site EH&S compliance.
