Job summary

Gopuff is looking for Operations Associates (OAs) in Washington, DC, who will play an essential role in operations, ensuring efficient picking, packing, and handling of products.

The ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred. The role offers $18.65/hour and various employee benefits, including medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during peak shifts.
• General knowledge of web-based software applications.
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts.
• Capability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack product from vendors and ensure counts match.
• Manage waste and spoilage through compliance with FIFO practices.
• Prepare quality beverages and food items for customers.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.

Skills

Ability to work a fluid schedule

Experience in a restaurant or retail environment

General working knowledge of basic web-based applications
