Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor for Secondary Markets (Outlet/Recycling) will primarily work in the Outlet and Recycling environment, assisting the Assistant Manager in leading staff, overseeing customer service, and maintaining the appearance of the sales floor and warehouse. The role includes acting as Manager-on-Duty and supporting organizational mission through excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

1. Support ASM with safety meetings, communication of operational changes, employee attendance, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
2. Coordinate opening/closing of work areas and secure the facility.
3. Oversee equipment operation and maintenance.
4. Manage work area setup and inventory.
5. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, becoming certified as needed.
6. Handle trailer loading/unloading and documentation.
7. Maintain updated KPI spreadsheets and production logs.
8. Coordinate responsibilities between Recycling and Outlet.
9. Ensure timely unloading of trailers and compliance with SOPs and training requirements.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in retail, recycling, or warehouse settings is preferred. Must have attention to detail, physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs, and operate equipment. Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Effective communication skills are essential.
