Tiger Analytics is seeking an experienced Operations Research Scientist to join our advanced analytics and AI team serving large enterprise clients. You will refactor Python optimization code, build predictive models, and translate business needs into data-driven solutions across the supply chain domain.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data science experience focusing on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, ML, or related field.
• Experience with mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, optimization techniques and predictive modeling.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, and SQL with data analysis and ML libraries.
• Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to translate needs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Refactor the optimization algorithm written in Python using Object Oriented Programming.
• Work on data science applications for supply chain and optimization in Retail/CPG.
• Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to improve inventory management and reduce stockouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Design experiments to evaluate replenishment strategies and allocation policies.
• Monitor KPIs related to replenishment and supply chain allocation and recommend improvements.
• Stay current with trends in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply chain management.
• Mentor and collaborate with a growing Data Science team.
