Job summary

Tiger Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance pricing analytics and supply chain optimization for global clients in the CPG & retail sector. You will refactor Python optimization algorithms, explore advanced analytics, and build models that improve inventory management and replenishment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply OR techniques, and leverage tools like Python, PySpark, SQL, and solvers such as Gurobi or CPLEX.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist focused on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation.
• Experience with mathematical programming solvers (Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR Tools).
• Strong programming in Python, PySpark, and SQL with data analysis and ML libraries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to translate business needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Refactor the optimization algorithm in Python using Object Oriented Programming.
• Work on pricing analytics and replenishment optimization for supply chains.
• Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to improve inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Design experiments to evaluate replenishment strategies and allocation policies.
• Monitor KPIs for replenishment and supply chain allocation and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation.
• Mentor and collaborate with other data scientists.
