Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is hiring an Associate Operations Research Analyst to support NC3 modeling, simulation, and performance analysis for U.S. strategic systems.

The role involves data collection, MBSE model development, and delivering analytical findings to government customers. The ideal candidate has a math/engineering background with 0–2 years of experience in modeling, analysis, and MBSE tools, and must be able to obtain DoD TS/SCI clearance for Offutt AFB, NE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, physical science, operations research, data science.
• 0–2 years’ experience with systems engineering methods, tools, and processes.
• 0–2 years’ experience using Modeling and Simulation software to represent physical systems and conduct statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams by evaluating performance, resilience, and mission effectiveness of NC3 systems.
• Assist with data collection, specification reviews, and development of system-of-systems MBSE models.
• Communicate analytical findings through technical presentations and written reports.
