Responsibilities

Prepare unit-dose medications for dispensing.
Deliver medications and order drug supplies.
Read prescriptions and prepare medications including pediatric/geriatric considerations.
Communicate with patients/caregivers about medication details and delivery.
Maintain records for controlled substances and inventory.
Assist in training of pharmacy technicians.
