Job summary

S2Technologies is hiring an Operations Support Engineer (SE) Mid to provide expert technical and operational support across SOCOM and Joint Staff missions. You will assist with system integration, training, software implementation, and synchronized situational awareness for global operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of C2 systems, COP, and data links, with experience in mission planning tools and joint staff programs. A TS/SCI clearance with eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years+ progressive technical support experience in operational or IC environments.
• 4 years+ operational experience supporting mission planning, flight planning, or navigation systems for SOF or military operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of C2 systems, COP platforms, and operational task organization structures.
• Experience in reporting capability gaps for geographically dispersed units.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for technical training and coordination.
• ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational expertise for SOCOM and Joint Staff missions and planning cycles.
• Implement, train, and support SOCOM and Joint Staff Programs of Record (COP, OAI, CCIR, mission planning tools).
• Prepare and check out mission plans and flight plans for special operations missions.
• Identify unit capability gaps in software and mission systems and report findings to SOCOM HQ.
• Collaborate with GCCs, Joint Task Forces, and Service Components to align tools and C2 relationships.
• Develop and deliver user training, system updates, and technical documentation as required.
• Maintain situational awareness and SME support to deployed and CONUS-based units.
