Position

Job Title: Ops Manager, iCBT shipping

Location: Malaysia

This position is accountable for developing shipping solutions and ensuring service quality for SpeedPAK's expansion in global markets, including the focused markets in Canada, Europe, the UK, Australia, the US, and Asian countries. The manager aims at developing new competitive shipping solutions, implementing effective shipping processes, forging strong partnerships with suppliers, and guaranteeing seamless service delivery across eBay's iCBT operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in strategic commercial negotiations with multiple service providers to design and implement effective logistics solutions tailored to the unique requirements of global markets.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of new logistics solutions' competitiveness and SLA commitments, comparing them with market benchmarks, such as price competitiveness and door-to-door shipping lead time.
  • Lead the development and successful launch of new competitive logistics solutions in global markets, including Express services with couriers and Standard services with end-to-end fully-tracked solutions.
  • Ensure that all SOPs are comprehensive, user-friendly, and aligned with eBay's operational standards.
  • Monitor the performance of each logistics and shipping service closely, utilizing data-driven insights to identify trends and areas for improvement, including INR, EDD and ADD performance.
  • Implement alternative solutions as needed to address performance gaps and ensure continuous service enhancement.
  • Make clear, proactive, and effective communication with internal cross-functional teams and external users, and address any concerns promptly.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in working with diverse teams and international suppliers to build competitive and high-quality logistics and shipping services in global markets.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing shipping operations and driving service excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct thorough analysis, take decisive action, and remain committed to seamless service implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills for daily interactions with different functions and multiple suppliers.
  • Ability to enhance service quality and increase customer satisfaction through effective communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to think boldly and adapt to new business requirements and challenges.
  • Excellent English proficiency for both oral and written communication during daily work.
