Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Transportation seeks an Operations Engineering Manager to lead Maintenance and Construction Operations across diverse programs, with authority over human, fiscal, and other resources to meet customer needs.

As part of the Operations Management Group and Construction Management Group, the role provides direction to State and District sections to achieve program goals and deliver transportation projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Minnesota (AELSLAGID).
• Five years of post-registration engineering experience, at least three years at Engineer Principal level or higher.
• Experience managing large, complex budgets and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership to Maintenance and Construction Operations across multiple program areas.
• Lead State and District Maintenance and Construction Sections to deliver programs and meet constituent needs.
• Ensure effective utilization of resources and fiscal management to support operations.
