Job summary

Latitude AI in Pittsburgh is seeking a data analyst to join the Continual Services Improvement team on a 12-month contract, applying exploratory data analysis and SQL across enterprise datasets.

You will work with BigQuery, dbt, and Git/GitHub in a Linux environment to build production data models and ensure data quality, partnering with multiple teams to improve data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of data analysis or business intelligence experience.
• Experience in Linux environments for file and script management.
• Advanced SQL query development, optimization, and debugging.
• Experience with data transformation tools and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian automation.
• Strong exploratory data analysis and data integration problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and anomalies in complex datasets using exploratory data analysis.
• Query BigQuery schemas to extract and manipulate data.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple tables.
• Use dbt to build and deploy production data models.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues for reliability.
• Review and understand existing queries by tracing data logic.
• Collaborate via Git and GitHub for feature branches and pull requests.
• Assist in lightweight data intake and integration between applications.
