Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete training and attain proficiency in the Florida PALM accounting system.
• Prepare and record daily deposit transactions in FLAIR.
• Maintain documentation for all transactions in Laserfiche.
• Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations for revenue transactions.
• Organize source documents and deposit files in the document management system.
• Prepare information for voucher submittals for Expenditure Refunds/Reimbursements.
• Run the Debit Memo report from PALM daily.
• Prepare information on returned items and add to delinquent account tracking.
• Perform due diligence to collect delinquent monies.
• Monitor delinquent account activity and refer to Collections per F.S. 215.34(2).
• Communicate clearly and effectively internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of experience in accounting or financial management, with one (1) year of experience processing revenues, reimbursements, billing, or financial reporting.
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university may be used in lieu of one (1) year of the required experience in processing revenues, reimbursements, billing, or financial reporting.

Requirements:

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.

Office hours are from 8:0^MA.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

• The incumbent will be required to complete training and attain proficiency in the Florida PALM accounting system to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
• Prepare and record daily deposit transactions in Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR)
• Maintain and ensuredocumentation for all transactions are uploaded to Laserfiche document management system.
• Assistwith performing daily and monthly reconciliations for Revenue transactions as needed.
• Organize andmaintainsource documents and deposit files in the agencies’ document management system.
• Ensure that documents areprepared forvoucher submittalfor Expenditure Refunds/Reimbursements.
• Run the Debit Memo report from PALM daily.
• Prepare information on Returned items and add to the delinquent account tracking list.
• Perform due diligence to collect delinquent monies.
• Monitor delinquent account activity to ensure accounts aresubmittedto Collectionstimelyper F.S. 215.34 (2).
• Clearly and effectively communicate internally and externally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
