Job description

Immediate Openings for Welder/Fabricators candidate for a position available in Rowesville, SC!!

Welder/Fabricators will be assisting with basic preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and tools, and assists other members of the Maintenance Department in various machine/building. Various Welding tasks and projects will be assigned within the Maintenance department and facility.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs regular and preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, tools, and building.
• Assists in the repair of woodworking machinery, in feed/out feed systems, hand tools in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturing specifications.
• Welding and fabricating when necessary as well as assisting others with the process.
• Performs preventative maintenance, as scheduled.
• Maintains records of repair and maintenance activities.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other initiatives.
• If assigned to the Treating Department, performs duties consistent with hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices.
• Prepares various reports as required and any other duties that are requested on a day-to-day basis.
