We are hiring remote medical receptionists based in India to support a U.S.-based medical practice. This is a full-time, work-from-home position where you will answer incoming phone calls from patients, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have experience working in a U.S. healthcare call center, U.S. medical office, or have answered phone calls for U.S. banks or insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls from U.S. patients professionally and courteously.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using the medical practice’s system.
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Assist callers with questions about services, insurance, billing, and clinic policies.
  • Escalate urgent or emergency calls to the appropriate department.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the practice.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in U.S. healthcare call center, U.S. medical receptionist, or U.S. banking phone support.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including EMR software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a quiet home office setup and high-speed internet.

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Medical BPO process (U.S. clients)
  • Virtual assistant for U.S. clinics or hospitals
  • U.S. insurance or banking customer support (call handling)
  • Experience with Athenahealth, Kareo, or similar EMR platforms (preferred but not required)
