Job description

Nephrology Associates, established in 1974, is Delaware’s largest independent Nephrology Practice with 29 nephrologists, 21 Advanced Practitioners, a large and loyal support staff, and 7 offices with 2 Vascular Access Centers. We focus on the care of patients with kidney disease and hypertension. Our physicians provide consult services at all major hospitals in Delaware, as well as Union Hospital in Cecil County, Maryland. Due to practice growth, we have opportunities for Board Eligible/Board Certified Nephrologists to join the practice in our New Castle, Kent and Sussex County offices.

We provide comprehensive nephrology care for CKD, Vascular Access Placement/Intervention, substantial outpatient chronic dialysis program, consisting of over 1,500 ESRD patients, and Renal Transplant Management.

Our physicians are currently Medical Directors at all Fresenius Kidney Care dialysis units in Delaware and in Cecil County, MD, and at many of the Acute Dialysis Units that are in the hospitals in which we consult.

Details of the position:

  • Physicians divide their time between treating patients in the various health systems in the county in which they work, in dialysis centers, as well as in office-based clinic time
