Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an emergency or specialty hospital preferred.
• Licensed veterinary technician credentials required (LVT/CVT/RVT).
• Ophthalmology experience is highly valued for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ophthalmic diagnostic tests (tear test, glaucoma testing, ulcer testing).
• Perform advanced ophthalmic diagnostic testing (retinal function, etc.).
• Set up and assist with ophthalmology procedures and surgeries.
• Handle outpatient procedures and select surgeries (eyelid surgery, cataract, glaucoma).
• Support anesthesia with monitoring and IV access as needed.
• Educate clients about the pet's ocular health and care.
