Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers in Greenville, SC seeks a Veterinary Technician to join our Ophthalmology team. You will assist a board-certified ophthalmologist in examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning for eye conditions.

Responsibilities include medication administration, diagnostic testing, anesthesia monitoring, client education, and meticulous record-keeping in a supportive, family-owned hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) is preferred.
• Experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologist in eye exams, diagnose ocular conditions and plan treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform tonometry, fluorescein staining, imaging, and ultrasound as needed.
• Monitor anesthetized patients during procedures and assist post-operatively.
• Educate owners about eye health, treatment plans and medications.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment; participate in CE.
