Veterinary Eye Center of New York City seeks a licensed Veterinary Technician to support our ophthalmology team. You will run appointments, manage anesthesia for surgical patients, and assist with diagnostics and record-keeping.

You’ll train on our specialty workflow at Hell's Kitchen before moving to Park Slope, Brooklyn, and enjoy a four-day work week with comprehensive benefits. We offer growth opportunities, generous PTO, and a supportive team culture dedicated to exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in New York State (LVT)
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and receive feedback
• Experience preferred but not required

Responsabilités

• Run appointments and manage anesthesia for surgical patients from start to finish
• Communicate histories and medications to clients
• Fill medications and assist with short procedures during appointments
• Perform diagnostics and venipuncture as needed
• Maintain thorough patient records and assist with billing estimates
• Intake and discharge surgical patients and coordinate pre-surgical tasks
• Participate in training and adopt specialty workflow
