Job summary

Eye Consultants in Wilmington, Delaware seeks a dependable Ophthalmology Technician to join our physician-owned practice. You will perform patient workups, refractions, and visual field tests, and run diagnostics (OCT, fundus photography, Optomap, topography), assisting physicians as needed.

On non-clinic days you will support scheduling, inventory, and front/back office tasks, ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate EMR documentation in ModMed EMA.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmology technician responsibilities in a busy clinic.
• Proficient handling and documentation of patient data.
• Ability to operate imaging/testing equipment and assist physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient workups and history-taking.
• Conduct refractions and visual field testing.
• Run diagnostic tests: OCT, fundus photography, Optomap, topography.
• Assist with in-office procedures and document in ModMed EMA.
• Handle scheduling and front/back office support on non-clinic days.
