Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with ophthalmology expertise to monitor trial sites across the United States. The role requires 3+ years of monitoring experience and 30-50% overnight travel to sites in major hubs in CA, TX, the South East and North East US.

You will manage site monitoring activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and support data integrity while collaborating with vendors and site staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience
• Ophthalmology experience required
• 30-50+% overnight travel

Responsibilities

• Monitor all aspects of study site monitoring including routine monitoring and close-out of clinical sites
• Coordinate site management as prescribed in project plans
• Ensure proper informed consent procedures and regulatory compliance
• Oversee data integrity and CRF review according to guidelines
• Support training of new staff and act as local client contact as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
