Optometrist

Optometrist needed in Lincoln, ME.

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore this opportunity in Lincoln, ME. This position is with a very progressive, well-run, and financially stable Federally Qualified Health Center.

Salary and Benefits

• The pay for this position is Negotiable based on years of experience.
• Fiscal year bonus based on productivity.
• Health Insurance: Employer pays 100% for the employee and 80% for family plans (coverage begins the first day of the month following 60 days).

Responsibilities

• 4-day work week, 100% outpatient.
• See patients of all ages daily.
• Perform clinical documentation using Athena EMR.
• Conduct vision tests, analyze results, and develop treatment plans.
• Examine eyes with observation, instruments, and pharmaceuticals to diagnose conditions like glaucoma or color blindness.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Prescribe therapeutic procedures to correct or conserve vision.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for eye surgery patients.
• Collaborate with primary care providers for team-based healthcare delivery.
• Maintain accurate and timely health records.
• Participate in quality measures as required.

Requirements

• New graduates welcome.
• Clear and active Medical Doctor license in Maine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Optometry.
• Active DEA registration.
