Job summary

American Vision Partners is looking for an Ophthalmology RN to join their team in Yuma, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential patient care in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical Center environment. Responsibilities include greeting patients, preparing operating suites, assisting during surgeries, and managing postoperative care. Candidates should have an Associate's degree, RN License, and BLS certification, with ophthalmology experience preferred. Qualifications

• 1-year Ophthalmology experience as a Surgery RN is a plus.
• ASC experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and admits patients to the pre-/post-operative area.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care using the nursing process.
• Prepares operating suite for patients, monitors cleanliness, and assembles supplies.
• Assesses patients' conditions on arrival in surgery.
• Assists Anesthesia Provider and Surgeon during procedures.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of patients’ surgical experience.
• Prepares for and manages immediate postoperative care.
