Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD), MD, PharmD, or PhD with ophthalmology/eye care expertise.
• Senior roles may require 4+ years of MSL experience in ophthalmology or related field.
• Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in ophthalmology and optometry.
• Serve as primary Medical Affairs contact for scientific exchange and education.
• Gather actionable field insights and inform medical strategy.
• Deliver disease state education to healthcare providers and staff.
• Support educational initiatives in ophthalmology residency programs.
• Identify expert faculty for advisory boards and clinical research.
• Develop and execute KOL engagement plans and attend scientific meetings.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and other functions.
