Overview

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Medical Retina Specialist to join our busy Ophthalmology practice in Champaign, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  2. We seek a BC/BE Medical Retina Specialist to provide high-quality and compassionate retinal care in Champaign, Illinois.
  3. The ideal candidate is personable and a team player with strong medical skills, motivated to cover a high volume of Medical Retina cases.
  4. Join a collegial work environment with colleagues who will provide mentorship and support your continued professional development. Our current provider group includes 6 Ophthalmologists, 5 Optometrists, 1 Low Vision specialist, 5 ABOC Opticians, and a dedicated Eye EMR support team. Sub-specialties include Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina, Cornea, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Neuro-Ophthalmology.
  5. Busy, ready-made, full-volume practice with a strong referral base.
  6. Two-year guaranteed base salary.
  7. Call responsibility is 1:5.
  8. Large optometric referral network.
  9. Our state-of-the-art facility includes 26 Ophthalmology exam lanes, 2 minor procedure rooms, 3 laser rooms, an onsite ambulatory surgery center, an integrated clinical research suite, one satellite location, and an onsite optical service facility in Champaign. Our satellite clinic is located in a new, modern building with an onsite ASC in Danville.
  10. Equipment includes Zeiss IOLmaster700, Humphrey Visual Fields, Heidelberg OCTs, Optos Silverstone, Cirrus OCT, Accutome UBM, A-scan & B-scan, Intraoperative OCT, Zeiss Lumera700 microscopes, Alcon Centurion, Callisto Eye System, Lumenis Selecta II SLT laser, Zeiss Yag Visulas III laser, Lumenis Vision One laser, and Iridex Micropulse Laser.
  11. Opportunity for academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
  12. Compensation and Benefits
