Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a health care field or two years of higher education with health care relevance
• COA certification required by JCAHPO
• Experience with ophthalmic testing and basic imaging systems

Responsibilities

• Perform visual acuity testing and pupil evaluation with/without correction
• Measure intraocular pressure and refractometry using ophthalmic equipment
• Conduct OCT, external photography, and fundus photography
• Assist ophthalmologist during clinic-based ophthalmic surgeries
• Educate patients on preoperative and postoperative eye care and safety
