Overview

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon to join our busy Ophthalmology practice in Champaign, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  2. We seek a BC/BE glaucoma surgeon to provide high-quality and compassionate glaucoma care in Champaign, Illinois.
  3. The ideal candidate is personable, a team player with strong medical and surgical skills, motivated to develop a broad glaucoma practice, and perform a high volume of glaucoma/MIGS surgeries.
  4. Join a collegial work environment with colleagues who will provide mentorship and support your professional development. Our current team includes 6 Ophthalmologists, 5 Optometrists, 1 Low Vision specialist, 5 ABOC Opticians, and a dedicated Eye EMR support team. Sub-specialties include Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina, Cornea, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Neuro-Ophthalmology.
  5. Busy, ready-made, full-volume practice with a strong referral base.
  6. Two-year guaranteed base salary.
  7. Call responsibility is 1:5.
  8. Large optometric referral network.
  9. Our state-of-the-art facility in Champaign offers advanced eye care and surgical solutions, including 26 Ophthalmology exam lanes, 2 minor procedure rooms, 3 laser rooms, an onsite ambulatory surgery center, an integrated clinical research suite, and optical services. Our satellite clinic in Danville is located in a new building with an onsite ASC.
  10. Equipment includes Zeiss IOLmaster700, Humphrey Visual Fields, Heidelberg OCTs, Optos Silverstone, Cirrus OCT, Accutome UBM, A-scan & B-scan, Intraoperative OCT, Zeiss Lumera700 microscopes, Alcon Centurion, Callisto Eye System, Lumenis SLT laser, Zeiss Yag Visulas III laser, Lumenis Vision One laser, and Iridex Micropulse Laser.
  11. Opportunity for academic or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Compensation and Benefits
