Job summary

Medix is seeking a Clinical Research Professional for an onsite, full-time contract role in New Jersey. You will manage patient visits, perform phlebotomy, and coordinate with clinic staff to maintain trial flow, data entry, and regulatory documentation.

The ideal candidate has phlebotomy certification, centrifuge experience, ophthalmology background, and strong data entry skills across EDC platforms, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Certified for phlebotomy / blood draws.
• Experience operating a centrifuge for specimen processing.
• Background in Ophthalmology (Retina/Anterior Segment or eye care).
• Proficiency in data entry across EDC platforms.
• Regulatory maintenance and audit readiness.
• Understanding of IP accountability and monitoring processes.
• Ability to work independently without direct daily onsite supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with clinic staff, investigators, monitors, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage 1–3 patient visits per day, with admin days during new study launches.
• Perform phlebotomy/blood draws and operate centrifuges.
• Collaborate with onsite clinic techs and staff to ensure smooth study flow.
• Enter clinical trial data across EDC platforms in a timely manner.
• Maintain regulatory binders and study documentation.
• Oversee IP processes and host meetings with external monitors.
