The RN Clinic at Trinity Regional Eye Minot provides specialized nursing support for ophthalmology evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care in the outpatient clinic setting. Qualifications

• Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
• 1-2 years' experience in medical field preferred but not required.
• Experience using computerized system for data reporting, information storage and retrieval.
• Excellent communication skills and detail orientation.

Responsabilités

• Perform ophthalmology-focused assessments, gather relevant medical and visual histories, and prepare patients for provider examinations and eye procedures.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing such as vision assessments, imaging, and laboratory work, ensuring accurate completion and timely results.
• Maintain precise documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient instructions in the electronic health record to support continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Educate patients and families on eye care, medication administration, procedure expectations, and follow-up requirements.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and interdisciplinary partners to manage patient flow, address clinical needs, and support safe transitions of care.
• Participate in department quality improvement efforts, maintain competency in clinic-specific testing, and complete required training to support ophthalmologic practice.
