Key Responsibilities

• Perform ophthalmology‑focused assessments, gather relevant medical and visual histories, and prepare patients for provider examinations and eye procedures.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing such as vision assessments, imaging, and laboratory work, ensuring accurate completion and timely results.
• Maintain precise documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient instructions in the electronic health record to support continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Educate patients and families on eye care, medication administration, procedure expectations, and follow‑up requirements.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and interdisciplinary partners to manage patient flow, address clinical needs, and support safe transitions of care.
• Participate in department quality improvement efforts, maintain competency in clinic‑specific testing, and complete required training to support ophthalmologic practice.

• Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
