Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a non-clinical Clinic Assistant to support our Ophthalmology team’s clinical workflows in Camas. This part-time role focuses on pre-visit chart reviews, preparing charts for providers, and reviewing patient information to ensure efficient visits.

The position involves uploading test results into the EMR and ensuring clinicians have organized information prior to appointments. Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology is preferred, and Epic EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ophthalmology clinic experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ophthalmic terminology preferred.
• Two years of experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit chart reviews to ensure clinicians have accurate information.
• Prepare patient charts for ophthalmology providers.
• Review patient information and test results for accuracy.
• Upload existing test results into the electronic medical record (EMR).
