Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center, managed by Vision Integrated Partners, seeks a Charge Nurse/Supervisor to oversee clinical operations, staff, and patient flow in a busy ophthalmology surgery center near Creve Coeur, MO. The role emphasizes accountability and service in ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Required associate degree in nursing with RN licensure; BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• 3–5 years of clinical operations experience related to patient population.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements; strong communication skills.
• May require valid driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support clinical operations, staff, and patient care in the surgery center.
• Allocate resources and staffing to match workload while ensuring safe, quality care.
• Assist in budget development and monitor targets.
• Serve as a resource to patients, families, physicians, and staff; interpret policies.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff; support professional development and retention.
• Drive process improvement and quality initiatives; collaborate with team to implement changes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
• Deliver excellent service experience to all customers through core leadership behaviors.
