Optum NY, (formerly Optum Tri-State NY) is seeking a Ophthalmologist to join our team in Bethpage, NY. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.

As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process.
• Board Certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Practice features multiple Ophthalmologists and is fully supported with a team of clinical & non-clinical staff as well as Optometrists.
• Practice comprehensive ophthalmology with fellowship trained physicians that specialize in small-incision cataract surgery, screening and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, floaters, central serous retinopathy, and inflammatory eye diseases.
• Clinicians in this department will have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals.
