As an ophthalmologist specializing in retina and vitreoretinal surgery, you will:

  • Restore and preserve vision for patients with retinal disorders, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and other vitreoretinal diseases
  • Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of retinal and vitreoretinal conditions, determining when surgical or medical intervention is needed
  • Utilize advanced surgical techniques, including retinal detachment repair (scleral buckle, vitrectomy), macular surgery, retinal laser procedures, and intravitreal injections
  • Perform comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for retinal and vitreoretinal procedures
  • Conduct precise, minimally invasive vitreoretinal surgical procedures
  • Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring retinal recovery and visual outcomes
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and front office staff to deliver comprehensive retinal and vitreoretinal care
  • Treat a wide range of ophthalmic cases, with emphasis on retinal diseases, diabetic eye disease, macular pathology, retinal vascular disorders, and complex vitreoretinal surgeries
