Job summary

Carolina Retina and Eye Care Institute, located just outside Raleigh, seeks a BE/BC Ophthalmologist for a full- or part-time role. You will lead a growing practice, taking over non-retina care while collaborating with a fellowship-trained retina specialist.

You’ll build a broad ophthalmology and cataract base, supported by a strong referral network and a clear path to partnership after 2–3 years. Flexible arrangements and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed ophthalmology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
• Active (or eligible for) North Carolina medical license.

Responsibilities

• Take over non-retina care and help grow comprehensive and cataract patient base.
• Work with in-house retina specialists to keep complex retinal cases in-house.
• Develop and manage practice operations, with a path to partnership.
