Job summary

CompHealth is helping a Georgia ophthalmology group hire for a 100% outpatient glaucoma-capable physician in Marietta, just NW of Atlanta. The role features a Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule with no hospital call, and it supports about 35 patients per day with a strong support staff and access to two ambulatory surgery centers.

The position requires a Glaucoma Fellowship and board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology, with a focus on high-quality patient care and efficient practice

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Glaucoma is required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Experience in outpatient ophthalmology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient practice with about 35 patients per day.
• Join a physician-led, multi-specialty eye practice with 41 providers across 14 locations.
• Call is limited to 6 one-week assignments per year.
• Dedicated support staff including scribes and technicians.
• Access to two ambulatory surgery centers with set surgery and laser days.

Job description

You will enjoy practicing in Marietta, a city 15 miles northwest of Atlanta. Exhibits there focus on local history. Northwest, trails lace Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
