Job summary

77 consultants is seeking an Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care in a fast-paced, on-site setting. You will diagnose, treat, and surgically manage a wide range of eye conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with ophthalmology residency and board credentials.
• Active medical license to practice ophthalmology is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology is preferred.
• Associate-level experience in ophthalmology or related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and diseases.
• Diagnose and treat glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries including lasers and cataract surgery.
• Prescribe medications, glasses, or contact lenses as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with other providers to manage systemic eye conditions.
• Educate patients on eye health and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and stay current with advances in ophthalmology.
• Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
