Job Overview
The Remote Technician plays a vital role in conducting subjective refractions remotely for patients. This role ensures precise data collection to support Doctors of Optometry in providing accurate and comprehensive eye exams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct subjective remote refractions for patients across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring precision and adherence to clinical standards.
- Guide patients through the exam process, explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Provide accurate data to Doctors of Optometry for comprehensive eye exams.
- Participate in feedback sessions, team meetings, and ongoing training to maintain quality standards.
- Achieve the required number of exams per hour as set by the company to ensure operational efficiency.
- Availability to work on Saturdays is mandatory; additional hours may be required based on business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned; this list does not reflect all responsibilities.

Availability

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications preferred.
- At least 1+ years of experience in subjective refractions or similar technician roles.
- Experience in telehealth or remote healthcare is a plus.
