Job Overview

The Remote Technician plays a vital role in conducting subjective refractions remotely for patients. This role ensures precise data collection to support Doctors of Optometry in providing accurate and comprehensive eye exams.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct subjective remote refractions for patients across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring precision and adherence to clinical standards.
  2. Guide patients through the exam process, explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and understanding.
  3. Provide accurate data to Doctors of Optometry for comprehensive eye exams.
  4. Participate in feedback sessions, team meetings, and ongoing training to maintain quality standards.
  5. Achieve the required number of exams per hour as set by the company to ensure operational efficiency.
  6. Availability to work on Saturdays is mandatory; additional hours may be required based on business needs.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned; this list does not reflect all responsibilities.
