Columbus Ophthalmology Associates seeks an Ophthalmic Technician with training provided to support patient flow and preliminary testing. Travel to other offices may be required, with mileage reimbursement.

The role offers full benefits, PTO, 401k and competitive base pay, and a schedule within our Mon-Fri 7am-7pm operations. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow.
• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.
