We are hiring entry-level and experienced Ophthalmic Technicians to join our growing team and contribute to high-quality patient care in medical and surgical retina. Entry-level pay starts at $18 per hour; experienced technicians with 1+ year retina experience start at $19–$22 per hour, depending on background.

Qualifications

• Position welcomes both entry-level and experienced ophthalmic technicians.
• Clinical ophthalmic duties across imaging and examinations.
• Strong patient-care focus and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or perform complex clinical diagnostic eye examinations and procedures as delegated.
• Participate in activities to promote improved patient care, problem-solving and professional development.
• Assess and deliver patient care following standards in ophthalmology with the healthcare team.
• Complete ophthalmic imaging tests as ordered by the physicians.
• Document patient care in the EMR in a timely, accurate manner.
• Under physician direction administer ophthalmic drops and related solutions within scope.
• Monitor patient flow and support staff in the clinic.
• Answer questions and refer patient questions to providers as appropriate.
