Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive patient histories including ocular and medical data.
• Measure visual acuity and perform pinhole testing.
• Convert patient data into medical records and scribing as needed.
• Conduct automated lensometry and refractometry tasks.
• Perform pre-examination tests (Amsler, Stereo, color vision).
• Assist with auto refraction and basic refractometry.
• Support applanation tonometry and fundus photography.
• Explain procedures such as Lasik or cataract surgery to patients.
