Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking an ophthalmic technician to assist physicians, take patient histories in the EMR, perform vision exams, prep patients for injections, and manage imaging tests. The role includes charting, scribing, and other patient-care tasks in a fast-paced clinic.

You'll work with a team to ensure accurate data capture, accurate testing, and smooth patient flow, with opportunities for growth and exposure to advanced ophthalmic procedures at one of the region's leading retina

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year health care experience or equivalent medical training desired (but not required).
• Desire to work with patients.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories in the EMR system and perform vision exams.
• Prep patients for injections and administer drops.
• Perform imaging tests and complete charting, scribing, and other tasks.
