Job summary

Providence Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle is seeking a Medical Assistant to support ophthalmology and optometry practices by recording medical history, assessing patients’ visual acuity, and performing specialized procedures.

In this role, you will also handle clerical tasks to keep office operations smooth and ensure supplies are properly managed. Washington MA registration or certification and BLS are required, plus at least 1 year in an eye care setting.

Qualifications

• Within 60 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Registration Or
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Eye care setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtains initial patient assessment by recording pertinent medical history, visual acuity and performing specialized technical procedures.
• Performs clerical duties to maintain effective office operations and patient services; manages the usage, disposal, and replenishment of supplies necessary for an efficiently run clinic.
