Job summary

Pacific Medical Centers (PacMed) seeks a Medical Assistant to support ophthalmology and optometry providers in Seattle. You will obtain initial patient assessments by recording medical history and visual acuity, and perform specialized procedures under clinician guidance.

In this role you will also handle clerical tasks and manage supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly and patients cared for with attention to detail and compassion.

Qualifications

  • Within 60 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Registration
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year Eye care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain initial patient assessment by recording pertinent medical history and visual acuity.
  • Perform specialized ophthalmology/optometry procedures and assist clinicians.
  • Execute clerical duties to maintain efficient office operations and manage supplies.
