Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with patients, staff and doctors.
• Willingness to travel to other offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist ophthalmologists/optometrists.
• Conduct preliminary exams and document medical history.
• Assist with instruments, eye medications, and minor procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of ophthalmic equipment.
• Provide patient education on medications and post-op care.
