Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate initiative and a positive work attitude.
• Proficient computer and office software skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during patient encounters (in person or by phone).
• Greet and assist patients professionally and timely.
• Maintain scheduling efficiency and respect patient and doctor time.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Verify patient information and record medical history in EMR.
• Perform tests and assist with eye exams (dilation, refraction, pressures, etc.).
• Maintain records and operate EMR systems.
• Assist in general office duties and cleaning as needed.
