Eyesightnh in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to support patients from their first visit through surgery. No medical background? We will train you and help you grow with a dedicated team.

You’ll learn to operate autorefractors, slit lamps, keratometers, and tonometers, while guiding patients with warmth and clear communication throughout their care journey.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in ophthalmic or medical office ideal.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and guide patients through diagnostic testing and exams
• Operate ophthalmic equipment like autorefractors, slit lamps, keratometers, and tonometers
• Support patients before and after surgery, helping them feel confident and cared for
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions
• Help coordinate follow-up care and keep our clinic running smoothly
• Be a trusted, familiar face for patients from consultation all the way through their surgical journey
• The right candidate will also be trained to assist our surgeons in surgery
