Job summary

OCLI Vision is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support doctors and ensure a smooth patient experience. You’ll handle pre-exam work, gather patient information, perform routine tests, and assist with procedures.

Responsibilities include recording visual tests, applying eye drops, triaging emergencies, room prep, and maintaining equipment while following infection control protocols. This role requires strong communication and a patient-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Friendly and patient-focused demeanor.
• Reliable under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record vision, depth, color, and peripheral tests.
• Apply eye drops and collect specimens.
• Triage emergencies and manage patient flow.
• Prep rooms and assist doctors during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
