Job summary

EyeSouth Partners is seeking an ophthalmic technician to support ophthalmologists and optometrists in a fast-paced Metro Atlanta clinic. The role includes conducting diagnostic tests, recording histories, and assisting with procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities also include chart reviews, data entry into EMR, and patient education. Strong communication and Nextech/ICP experience are preferred. On-site work with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient in recording patient ocular health data.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct tests ordered by ophthalmologist/optometrist.
• Act as medical scribe and enter data into EMR.
• Take ocular and systemic history and record visual acuity.
• Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications as directed.
• Assist with in-office procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Educate patients and maintain exam room cleanliness.
